What on earth is ComCom?

How ComCom helps our church family stay connected.....

At First Presbyterian Church we have a wonderful way of knowing what is going on within our church family. Emails are sent under the care of the Communications Committee (hence "ComCom") with church news/information. Meetings, joys, events or any 'church family news' is spread throughout our members in a timely fashion. But the ComCom that really keeps us close is the 'Standing in the Need of Prayer' ComCom. It comes out in a hurry.. The members will get the ComCom requesting the prayer that is needed. Prayers are lifted right away. Visits/phone calls are made, food is cooked, cards sent. Whatever is needed gets started. ComCom is priceless.

(A very small number of members don't have computers and they are called by a phone committee.)
