This is First Presbyterian Church, a community of people who follow the Lord together and seek to reach out in love to the city of Statesboro and beyond. Whether you’ve worshipped here for your entire life, or just today joined us for the very first time, we hope that you will taste and see God’s Spirit at work among us.
We seek to be the Church in the truest sense of the word: not a building of brick but a body of people, called together to glorify God and enjoy God forever. We have been blessed with a multitude of ministries here at First Church, including vibrant weekly worship and Sunday School classes, meaningful mission and outreach opportunities, and youth and young children’s programs that pass on the faith in new and exciting ways. In short, we believe there is a place for each person here, a place to worship and to serve and to follow the Lord in faith. All are welcome here as we grow together in grace, and experience the wonder of God’s love in Christ.
