The Chancel Choir Singers
The Chancel Choir Singers from high-school youth to adults are invited to rehearsals on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and to sing for Sunday-morning services plus special services.
Coventry Ringers
The Coventry Ringers is composed of adults who are advanced ringers, have the ability to read music and are comfortable with ringing multiple bells. They perform for special services and occasions in both the sanctuary and Carlton Hall. Rehearsal is Wednesday at 5:15 PM.
FOR THE CHILDREN
Kirk Choirs
First Presbyterian has 2 children’s choirs.
The Cherub Choir - is for children in pre-school (age 3) thru first grade.
The Carol Choir - is for children in grades two thru six. These choirs rehearse on Wednesday evening from 6:45 – 7:30. In addition to the musical activities, this time includes a devotional, crafts, and activities appropriate to the age level of the group. The children sing during worship on special occasions and traditionally present a Christmas musical during December. The Carol choir has begun ringing Melody Bells. These bells are a quality musical instrument that introduces the basics of hand bell ringing to children.
