It's HERE! A time for celebration!
The new organ was installed in December 2005 and the first service was the annual Service of Nine Lessons and Carols.
The organ was dedicated on March 10, 2006. The dedication service was played by Organist Monty Bennett from Charlotte, N.C. In attendance were members of the congregation, local organists and choir directors, and members of the Savannah Chapter American Guild of Organists.
Afterwards a cake and coffee reception was held in Carlton Hall.
The church received a beautiful new semi-concert grand piano. This piano was given to us by an anonymous donor because we purchased a new Johannus organ. This anonymous donor believed a church who purchased a new Johannus organ had a commitment to quality church music and the donation was the donor’s support of those music ministries. A dedication service for the piano was held on August 6, 2006.
